Before founding the firm, Mr Guevara acted as Head of the Legal Department of the Bolivian Central Bank, as legal counsel to the Commission of Negotiation of Bolivia’s Foreign Debt, and as Director of the Boards of Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos YPFB, the Bolivian Central Bank, and the National Stock Exchange Commission.He is a member of the Bolivian Bar Association, International Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Bolvian Arbitration Commision of the Chamber of Commerce.
