She chose legal subjects with a commercial focus, including Company, Banking, Intellectual Property Law (IP), Tax and European Union law and graduated with a BA (Hons) Law (Cantab).
During one of her summer holidays she attended Harvard University to hone her drafting skills through attending classes Legal Writing. She used this opportunity to familiarize herself with the American Legal System. She also immersed herself in Harvard's Pro Bono program in the Boston area and enjoyed the human factor in public interest work.
After graduating from Cambridge University, Denise moved to London to gain vocational experience through the Legal Practice Course at the renowned BPP Law School.
