Dozie studied Law at the University of Jos, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2012.

He currently works as a Senior Associate at O. Kayode & Co, where he practices law in the areas of Intellectual Property prosecution and maintenance, anticounterfeiting enforcement, Corporate/Commercial Law, Advertising Law and Legal Advisory departments respectively.

Dozie holds a Masters Degree from the University of Lagos, and is a member of a number of professional Associations among which include the Nigerian Bar Association, the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), the Intellectual Property Lawyers Advocacy Network (IPLAN), International Trademarks Association (INTA) and the Nigerian Bar Association’s IP Section on Business Law.

Dozie has been ranked for many years as a ‘Rising Star’ and more recently, rated as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ by Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars, a global ranking service which ranks IP practitioners and contributors around the world.

He is a member of the Anticounterfeiting Committee at INTA.
